Katy is in the fourth year of her Vocal Studies degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama due to graduate in July. She will be accompanied by Rhiannon Pritchard. In February Katy delighted a sell-out audience at St. David's Hall after she was asked to step in at the last minute when Connie Fisher was unable to perform. Katy was a finalist in the Young Welsh Musical Theatre Singer of the Year 2009. Katy was also a guest artist at the Annual Rhondda Fach Community Gala Concert alongside Welsh Musical Theatre star John Owen Johns in May.
