Racing Jack are now coming to the end of their sixth form education and so will be leaving to go their separate ways very soon, meaning this is one of your last chances to enjoy their active live performance which guarantees to get you dancing and jiving to the music you love.

In this, one of their final concerts, the band will be summarizing their 3 years together combining music from the 60’s straight through to the present day, creating a perfect night out for the whole family.

Groove Joint Movement was initially the product of the two brothers’ jam sessions. The band evolved through a series of line-up changes, finally settling with Sam Pd bringing the low end and Matthew Bell straining the vocal chords.

They played their first gig at the start of the summer in 2007 and the last one at the end of the summer 2008. This will be their first gig since September last year. They draw influences from a wide spectrum but their sound leans and pays tributes to both classic rock acts and modern rock acts such as Led Zeppelin, Black Stone Cherry, Foo Fighters, Audioslave and Pantera. They combine a body moving groove with a old school hard rock edge
